KARAHIYA IN EDUCATION

karahiya is a well educated village.Students of this village are persuing many higher degree courses like engineering, MBBS,B.com, BCA,LLB,MCA,MBA,MA and reaserch level studies including girls also.Every young man has atleast a bachelor degree.There are 5 primary schools,one high school and one Intermediate college.There are many other colleges in surrounding region where students of this village are persuing their study.

If we see the history of karahiya in education we get a golden history.After independence (1947) When most of the Indian Society was not well educated at that time Jagdish Singh of village karahiya was at the post of Megistrate in Indian government.He was also a Freedom fighter and participated in many activities for freedom of our country.He completed his studies before independence.Just think how hard struggle it was.There are some more people who have actively participated in freedom fight. Their names are Sarju Jaiswal,Ramnath Yadav,Wazid Ansari etc.

Karahiya has given many educated and talented people to the surrounding region from the time of british government till today.During time of 50s and 60s when education was in its primary form in India at that time village karahiya provided many talented people,who helped to spread education in this region.Gayatri Tiwari of village karahiya helped to establish Nauli Inter college Nauli.At that time there were atmost 3 or 4 colleges in this region and principles of these colleges were of village karahiya like Banshraj Singh Of Radha Krishn Gupt Adarsh college Dildarnagar,Ramashankar Singh of Nauli Inter College Nauli,Raghunath Singh of Gahmar Inter college Gahmar who also got the post of Basic Shiksha Adhikari in government of India.Shambhunath singh is wice principle in Fully Inter colege Fully.Damodar Upadhyay is teacher in Gahmar Inter college Gahmar, Awadhesh Singh and janardan Singh are teacher in Nauli Inter College Nauli.

Santraj Singh who is now a farmer deffence scientist was the first engineer of village karahiya.Dr. Ajay Singh(s/o Raghunath Singh) was MBBS doctor in Indian Railway.Dr. Vijay Singh has worked at the post of C.M.O.(Chief medical officer).kailashnath Srivastav is an I.A.S. officer. Mohd. Sarvar ansari is the health Inspector in government of India.Dr. Surendra Singh(son of jagdeesh singh explained above) is professor in B.H.U. varanasi in M.B.A department.Narendra singh(son of Jagdeesh Singh) is a forest officer(PCS).Devendra Singh(s/o of Jagdeesh Singh) is an Officer in Social wellfare department(PCS).Virendra Singh(s/o Jagdeesh Singh) is police Inspector in U.p. police.Lal ji singh and Jai Ganesh Singh are working at the post of Megistrate.Dr. Surendra sarang is a proffessor of Hindi in Mumbai.R.D. Singh was a C.B.I. officer.Suresh Singh was Inspector in U.P. POLICE.Rampyare Singh was the captain in Indian Army.Jagat Narayan Singh is major in Indian army.Akshaiber Singh has completed commando training and working as bodyguard in central government of India.

Now this is time for some young people who have just completed their studies or have been posted.Rajesh Singh(s/o of R.D. Singh) is an I.P.S. Officer.Dr. Gyanedra Singh who has completed his M.B.B.S. degree .Atul Singh(s/o Kanhaiya Singh) has been selected in N.D.A in indian army.Rajesh Singh(s/o Ramdular Singh) is C.O. in B.S.F.pankaj Singh has been selected in C.D.S. in Indian Army.There are many more,Its hard to explain about everyone.

There are many students which are completing their degrees in almost each fields of study.There is a library for children named JAI RAM BHAWAN established by Santraj Singh and a J Krishnamurti study centre is also run by Santraj Singh from november to february every year.


Though the basic source of emplyment of this village is deffence(ARMY) but karahiya always possessed its value in education.
